As your pet approaches the signal field (initially marked with a series of flags to help your pet identify the area), the receiver collar begins to emit an audible (or vibration) warning beep. If your pet goes beyond the warning zone, the warning is quickly followed by a \u2018correction\u2019\u2014 a mild electrical stimulation from the receiver collar. With proper training, your pet will quickly learn to stay away from areas that he associates with the warning.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>                                    <div class=\"faq-item\" itemscope itemprop=\"mainEntity\" itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/Question\">\n    <h3 class=\"faq-item__question\">\n        <button itemprop=\"name\" data-type=\"question\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n            What is the light on the transmitter?        <\/button>\n    <\/h3>\n    <div class=\"faq-item__answer\" data-type=\"answer\" aria-hidden=\"true\" itemprop=\"acceptedAnswer\" itemscope itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/Answer\">\n        <div class=\"faq-item__answer__content type--content-styles type--content-margins type--content-link-style\" itemprop=\"text\">\n            <p>The status light on the transmitter lets you know if the transmitter is turned on.<\/p>\n<p>On the MB-1, the status light also lets you know the status of the transmitter battery. If the light is red, the battery needs to be charged. When using a boundary wire with the MB-2, the status light glows green only when there is a continuous signal loop. This depends on the frequency setting of the transmitter.<\/em><\/p>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>                                    <div class=\"faq-item\" itemscope itemprop=\"mainEntity\" itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/Question\">\n    <h3 class=\"faq-item__question\">\n        <button itemprop=\"name\" data-type=\"question\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n            How do I increase and decrease the signal range (the distance the signal radiates from the transmitter or the boundary wire) to make the \u201coff-limits\u201d avoidance zone area larger or smaller?        <\/button>\n    <\/h3>\n    <div class=\"faq-item__answer\" data-type=\"answer\" aria-hidden=\"true\" itemprop=\"acceptedAnswer\" itemscope itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/Answer\">\n        <div class=\"faq-item__answer__content type--content-styles type--content-margins type--content-link-style\" itemprop=\"text\">\n            <p>On the back of the transmitter, there is a signal range knob.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Turn the knob toward the \u2018+\u2019 or \u2018Max\u2019 to increase the signal range. This increases the size of the signal field.<\/li>\n<li>Turn the knob toward the \u2018-\u2019 or \u201cMin\u2019 to decrease the signal range.
